Founders Juliëtte Mohamed (born 1993) and Mick Simmering (born 1993) believe this should change, and from that conviction, Noord see Lights was born.

Noord see Lights provides creative tools that allow consumers to design lighting tailored entirely to their preferences and style. From the type of lamp to its shape, pattern, and color—everything is customizable. This ensures a unique design perfectly suited to each individual.

The inspiration for Noord see Lights' forms, colors, and patterns comes directly from the North Sea. This inexhaustible source reflects the brand's core values: authenticity, locality, and sustainability. The result is truly Dutch design, rooted in craftsmanship and respect for the environment.

At Noord see Lights, fostering a meaningful connection between people and products is central. By enabling consumers to design their own lighting, a personal bond is created, encouraging more conscious consumption. The lamps are locally produced in the creative hub of Amsterdam Noord, using plant-based and recycled materials. Thanks to efficient 3D-printing technology, only the necessary materials are used. Moreover, the lamps are fully modular, allowing individual parts to be easily replaced, further extending their lifespan.
