Amsterdam-based studio Vasili Lights creates eco-friendly kids' lights handmade from washable paper - tear resistant and vegan material, which can stand up to many years of use.

Vasili Lights' Lapu Lapu Lamp, Jellyfish Lamp and Sea Turtle Lamp are papercraft lampshades. They are handmade from washable paper - eco-friendly and recyclable material called also craft paper fabric. It looks and feels like a paper but it is tear resistant and strong enough to rival leather. The lampshades made with this durable and eco-friendly vegan material (natural cellulose fibers), can stand up to many years of use. But it starts breaking down after two weeks in the soil. Also, craft paper fabric can be reused for a long time and it can easily be recycled.
Inspired by its eco-friendly and versatile properties, Vasili Lights created kids' room pendant lampshades - Lapu Lapu Lamp, Jellyfish Lamp and Sea Turtle Lamp.
