Be open. Don’t let yourself be bound by convention. Inspire yourself. Never forget functionality.
That’s a basic summary of FUNDAMENTAL BERLIN’s philosophy. It has given rise to at least 50 design products in the last 7 years, products that have found a home in some of the best design boutiques in the world, including the MoMA Design Store in New York, the Louvre and the Centre Pompidou
in Paris, as well as the Vitra store in Weil am Rhein and the Bauhaus Museum in Dessau. What unifies all of these designs, however, is a playful coolness.
FUNDAMENTAL BERLIN was founded in 2011 by Gunnar Rönsch and Stephen Molloy, who discovered a shared fascination for geometry and mathematics while studying architecture in Berlin.
