Li Libo

(surname/ given name) based in Amsterdam, was born and raised in the mountains of mainland China, where she grew up in a small village climbing trees and playing in the local kimchi jar factory. After graduating with 1.5 Master degrees in Fine Arts and a major in ceramics -China Academy of Art (quit halfway) ; Kent State University, USA - she was determined to set up a studio to create objects that are rich in tradition and history, while still functional and fun--the kind of work that can make people smile and laugh.
